– The presentation held at the emblematic Dante Theater marked the milestone of the annual closure of an alliance that has already reached almost a decade, benefiting the artistic training of young talents from the port municipality.

The Talcahuano Municipal Youth Orchestra presented its traditional Christmas concert at the Dante Theater Cultural Center, in an activity that had free admission and the attendance of more than 100 people, marking the closure of the organization’s annual programming.

The presentation brought together approximately 20 musicians, who performed a repertoire that included Christmas music, works from the classical period, jazz versions of carols and an intermezzo of operatic character, in full orchestral format.

The concert took place within the framework of the alliance that Blumar maintains with the Talcahuano Municipal Youth Orchestra, which in 2025 will celebrate 10 years of collaborative work aimed at strengthening musical training for young talents in the municipality.

Throughout this decade, Blumar’s support has made it possible to contribute to the renewal of instruments and musical accessories, strengthen instrumental training classes and create the necessary conditions for the realization of larger-scale concerts, promoting the active participation of girls, boys and young people in community-based artistic events.

The director of the Talcahuano Municipal Youth Orchestra, Mauricio Fuentes Roca, valued the impact of the company’s sustained support on the artistic development of the organization: “This concert is the last major activity of the year and allows us to show all the work accomplished”.

“We are very grateful to Blumar, because their contribution in instruments and accessories has allowed us to renovate the orchestra, strengthen classes and hold larger concerts, with brass, trumpets, bows and all the elements required for a presentation of this level,” Fuentes highlighted.

For his part, Blumar’s Sustainability Sub-manager, Felipe Hormazábal, emphasized that “this Christmas concert represents the closure of a very significant year. For Blumar, supporting the Talcahuano Municipal Youth Orchestra is a concrete way to contribute to local cultural development and create opportunities for young talents. It is a long-term alliance that reflects our commitment to the community and to initiatives that strengthen access to artistic training”.
