With the purpose of supporting students from the Libertad School in Talcahuano with their remote studies, the Business Table of Libertad-Gaete composed of Blumar, PacificBlu, Cementos Biobío, CAP Acero, Inchalam, Landes, Frío Pacífico and Asipes carried out the delivery of 30 tablets to students who are studying between pre-kindergarten and 6th grade.

On behalf of the Business Table, Carla Pettinellli, Director of Public Affairs at PacificBlu commented “As a Business Table we know that it is very important to support boys and girls in their education stage, therefore when we received this request from Libertad School we decided to support with the delivery of 30 tablets that will benefit 16 boys and 14 girls from this school. We know that it will be a very important tool to continue with their educational development by being able to connect to their online classes, which is the current education format due to the health crisis the country is experiencing”.

For her part, the Director of Libertad School, Evelyn Morales expressed her gratitude during the ceremony “For us it is a very well-received gift, since the technological gap in our school population is very wide, therefore, most of our students are functioning through a cell phone that is sometimes not very good and not of very good quality, therefore, this tablet comes to complement everything that as a school we are doing, the children will be happy with this new tool”.

This initiative is part of the commitment that companies maintain with their communities, which seeks to contribute to the development and education of the residents of Libertad Gaete in the face of the current situation that keeps students away from their classrooms.
