In Santiago on Thursday, April 7, the quarterly results meeting was held with very good attendance by minority shareholders of Blumar and representatives of banking entities.
Gerardo Balbontín, General Manager of the Company, presented the financial and operational results of the company as of December 2015.
Furthermore, at the meeting, market projections for the current year were analyzed in both the national and international spheres.
Through its Innovation and Development Management team, the company obtained Corfo’s approval for its first two projects under this incentive framework, with the resulting returns to be reinvested in its own operations.
The company received the Bronze Winner distinction in the Aquaculture/Fishing category of the 2026 Chile Corporate Social Impact Index, which evaluated 95 companies from various industries across the country.
The congressman welcomed the meeting and the opportunity to learn about the needs and challenges facing the fishing industry.
