• The company has provided 25 tons of plastics that are used to make a material that enables the construction of furniture and other elements in a Circular Economy scheme.

Within the framework of its brand launch, Patagonia Circular presented a recognition to Blumar’s production submanager, Pablo Solís, highlighting the company’s significant participation and commitment to promoting the circular economy and local recycling.

Patagonia Circular is a company born in Magallanes that uses the region’s plastic waste to transform it into an innovative material, “plastic wood”, manufactured 100% from recycled plastic, which shapes products displayed in the showroom at Ferretería El Águila.

“Blumar’s contribution has been very important, since they provide us with floats and buoys that are used in a circular economy scheme. Today we have managed to recycle over 25 tons just with this company, and many of these plastics are present in these furniture pieces that we are exhibiting here and in many projects in the region”, said Patagonia Circular’s general manager and founder, Bernadita Ortiz.

Upon receiving the recognition, Pablo Solís expressed that “we are very honored. This recognition is not only a support for the work of our entire team, but also for the commitment we share with those who believe in a more sustainable future for Magallanes”.
