On Thursday, November 30th, the Pacific Blu merger was signed where Blumar has 55% ownership.
Pacific Blu is a company dedicated to the extraction, processing and commercialization of white fish, mainly hake and squid.
Additionally, it is present in retail through the renowned brand El Golfo Comercial.
Through its Innovation and Development Management team, the company obtained Corfo’s approval for its first two projects under this incentive framework, with the resulting returns to be reinvested in its own operations.
The company received the Bronze Winner distinction in the Aquaculture/Fishing category of the 2026 Chile Corporate Social Impact Index, which evaluated 95 companies from various industries across the country.
The congressman welcomed the meeting and the opportunity to learn about the needs and challenges facing the fishing industry.
