The company received the Bronze Winner distinction in the Aquaculture/Fishing category of the 2026 Chile Corporate Social Impact Index, which evaluated 95 companies from various industries across the country.

Blumar was recognized as a Bronze Winner in the Aquaculture/Fishing category in the 2026 edition of the Corporate Social Impact Index (IISE), an initiative led by BSponsor in collaboration with UDD and PwC. The platform analyzes and compares the social impact generated by companies through their social and community initiatives.

Felipe Hormazábal, Blumar’s Sustainability and OHS Deputy Manager, who received the recognition during the ceremony, stated: “This achievement reflects the commitment of those who, in each region, build strong relationships, promote meaningful initiatives, and contribute to generating a positive impact on the communities and the environment we share. Our challenge is to continue advancing toward increasingly consistent management practices that enable us to create value together with those who live alongside our operations and to continuously improve the way we engage with them.”

During 2025, Blumar carried out 93 community engagement projects that reached 18,659 beneficiaries, spanning from Caldera to Magallanes across seven regions, 13 municipalities, and more than 26 local communities. These initiatives are structured around four pillars: building strong, trust-based relationships; contributing to building the future; acting with a local focus; and promoting environmental awareness.

This work is part of Blumar’s business and sustainability strategy, through which the company seeks to maintain close, respectful, and transparent dialogue with social organizations, educational institutions, authorities, and other local stakeholders, strengthening initiatives that contribute to the development of the communities where it operates.
