San Vicente, July 21, 2026. Blumar welcomed Congressman Patricio Briones to its San Vicente facilities, where he had the opportunity to visit its facilities and vessels, with the aim of fostering an open dialogue about the industry, its current challenges, and needs.

The visit began with a tour of the plant, led by Ignacio Mir, Fishing Business Manager; Carlos Sepúlveda, Finance Manager; José Ocares, Fishing Operations Manager; Felipe Hormázabal, Deputy Manager of Sustainability, Safety and Occupational Health; and Roberto Contreras, Fleet and Raw Material Procurement Manager. The visit continued aboard one of the company’s vessels, where the congressman gained firsthand insight into the work carried out at sea on a daily basis.

Opening our facilities to communities and public authorities reaffirms Blumar’s commitment to transparency and collaboration between the public and private sectors. This enables those who are part of the communities surrounding the company’s plants to gain firsthand insight into the work carried out at our facilities.

Durante la visita, el diputado nos planteó inquietudes del rubro que generó una conversación cercana y transparente enfocada a los requerimientos de la industria”.
