• During the month celebrating the company’s tenth anniversary, it was able to demonstrate the multiple advances it has developed at the site during the health emergency.

 With the aim of publicizing all the advances the company has developed in its Aysén farming centers, Blumar received the National Director of Labor, Lilia Jerez, accompanied by the regional director of the institution, Dina Sierra.

The authorities were able to tour the centers and supervise the operation and compliance with the sanitary protocols established by the company, in order to protect the health of the employees working there.

In this regard, the National Director of Labor indicated that “this visit to the salmon farming centers in Aysén Province, together with the Provincial Labor Inspection, was important, as it allowed us to learn on the ground all the measures adopted, aimed at protecting workers in this industry, as well as aspects related to logistics for the inspection carried out by the Labor Directorate in this area, aspects that contribute to the safe operation of this industry relevant to employment in this region”.

For his part, Blumar’s People Manager, Raúl Hermosilla, thanked the authorities for the visit and highlighted that “our priority since the beginning of this health emergency has been the health and safety of people together with the operational continuity of the company. Based on this, we established a series of protocols aimed at preventing outbreaks in our facilities so we could continue operating in the best way and thereby maintain direct employment for approximately 2,000 families `'.

He also assured that for Blumar, this period was a stage to demonstrate the company’s capacity for adaptation and flexibility, attributes that – according to the executive – allowed it to move forward.

This visit takes place as part of the celebration of Blumar’s tenth anniversary, which is being celebrated in October of this year.
