Corral, June 9, 2026. As two of the business players with decades of presence and development in the Los Ríos Region, Blumar and Cervecería Kunstmann held a meeting in the town of Corral to strengthen ties and discuss opportunities for joint work for the development of the area.

Representatives from the brewing company learned about the processes, personnel, and operations of the fishmeal and fish oil plant that Blumar operates in the area. The Kunstmann delegation included managers and assistant managers from the Operations, Environment, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance departments.

The meeting was led by Blumar’s Fishing Business Manager, Ignacio Mir, who emphasized the value of intersectoral dialogue in the town. “Collaboration between different industrial sectors is key to generating synergies that positively impact the quality of life in our communities. We want to continue promoting initiatives aimed at fostering the economic growth of Corral, an area where Blumar has been actively present for over 25 years,” stated Ignacio Mir.

During the tour, Armin Kunstmann, founder and president of Cervecería Kunstmann, praised the operational standards observed: “As a tourist, you know there’s a fish processing plant in Corral, but I didn’t imagine finding such a well-structured company, with such clear ideas and purposes, and such well-defined sustainability goals. We come from the world of beer, a product for human consumption, and therefore, we are accustomed to high standards of cleanliness and order, and we found much of that during our visit as well.”

He added, “We are among the few business and industrial players in the region, and what better way to connect than to get to know each other, learn about what others are doing, and collaborate when necessary, working together for the good of the area.”
