• In order to unify its corporate identity, the company, which is celebrating 10 years, has decided that the company Bluriver will now be called Salmones Blumar Magallanes. This is an integration process that will not impact the working conditions of the people who make up the operation in Magallanes.

In 2021, Blumar celebrates ten years. In this decade, the company has managed to become a leader in fishing and sea food production. This is reflected especially in the salmon sector, which has been driven mainly by the operation in the Magallanes region. 

Because of this, the company decided to move forward in terms of organization and integration, making two determinations. First, it is the creation of a Farming Management position, from which this area of the company will be strengthened to shape the objectives for the coming years. 

On the other hand, as part of an integration policy, it was decided that from today the BluRiver subsidiary will be called Salmones Blumar Magallanes. “This change seeks to reaffirm that the people who make up the operation in Magallanes are part of the Blumar family and that we can all feel that identity that characterizes us and has allowed us to grow with professionalism. Our values, convictions and way of doing things is one, which is why we are all Blumar” said Blumar’s General Manager, Gerardo Balbontín. 

Likewise, Blumar indicated that this integration will bring multiple benefits and will not impact the working conditions of the people who make up the operation in Magallanes and that it symbolizes the unifying spirit and growth that the company has.
