– The group, composed of 15 musicians aged 13 and over, dazzled more than 150 people who attended the renovated Dante Theater to enjoy the music. 

            December 22, 2022, Talcahuano. With a full theater thanks to the attendance of more than 150 people, the Talcahuano Municipal Youth Orchestra held a new Christmas concert for the community at the Dante Theater. The initiative was supported by Blumar, as part of an agreement with Artistas del Acero and the orchestra, which seeks to bring art and culture closer to benefit local development.

            The group is composed of 15 musicians aged 13 and over, who have individual classes, theoretical courses and orchestral practice. The orchestra’s conductor, Jaime Cofré, stated that “there is a diversity of people who come from different backgrounds and who see in music a way to express themselves. That is why the municipal academy is so important, so that the community knows that young people can project themselves here and develop a routine that takes them out of the ordinary”.

            After the presentation, second violinist Estefanía Fuentes said that “the concert was impressive, I think it is one of the first times that the theater has been full and, even, tickets ran out. We felt the warmth and affection, it is something we will be grateful for eternally”.

For his part, Blumar’s people manager, Raúl Hermosilla, highlighted that “for years we have been supporting this initiative, which has had great results both for the musicians and for the community that can enjoy a luxury show. Our idea is to be a contribution to the communities where we work, not only in our area, but also in what benefits the locality in matters such as cultural and musical development”.
