BLUMAR SALMON JOINS PROPYME SEAL

BLUMAR SALMON JOINS PROPYME SEAL

Industry & Global Standards

Since January 2016, Blumar Pesca has already held this certification. Now, with the Salmon division’s obtainment of the ProPyme Seal, the entire company commits to paying invoices from its SME suppliers within a maximum period of 30 days.

With great satisfaction, during March of this year, Blumar Salmon received the news that the Undersecretariat of Economy and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises had granted it the ProPyme Seal, which recognizes its commitment to pay invoices issued by its small and medium-sized suppliers within a maximum period of 30 days.

The company’s Fishing division obtained the same certification in January 2016. With both divisions certified, Blumar reaffirms its commitment to the value chain in which its SME suppliers participate, as this Seal becomes a guarantee to improve the conditions of smaller companies. It is also a demonstration of the company’s effort to achieve better engagement with its different stakeholder groups, as established by its Social Responsibility policy.
