An important distinction for its work with communities was received by Blumar. The award was granted by Cidere Bío Bío, an institution that recognized the company for the Blumar en Tu Escuela program, which is carried out through an agreement with the Net Positiva project by Bureo and the Clean Recycling Point installed at San Vicente School.

Natalia Alfaro, sub-manager of People; José Ocares, sub-manager of Operations; and Felipe Hormazábal, sub-manager of Sustainability, received the distinction on behalf of the company, and thanked Cidere and its board for this recognition.

“Blumar’s merit in winning this CSR award from Cidere is that it demonstrates that it is in line with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and that is very important, since it is a recognition made for the work they have been carrying out in the San Vicente area for more than 15 years,” said Pedro Ramírez, manager of Cidere Bío Bío.
