Its presence in 32 countries and its diversification in markets, clients and products made it worthy of this distinction.
For its consolidation in international markets with its aquaculture and fishing products, Blumar was recognized by the Association of Exporters and Manufacturers, Asexma Chile A.G., with the Export Excellence distinction.
The presentation of this award took place during the thirty-fourth annual business meeting organized by Asexma. This event is the most significant for the Chilean exporting business sector. It brings together the country’s leading manufacturers exporters, government authorities, diplomats, parliamentarians, business leaders and service companies.
According to Asexma, the Export Excellence distinction awarded to Blumar considered the diversification of markets, clients and products achieved by the company that currently has presence in 32 countries in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa.
This, the business organization noted, has allowed Blumar to consolidate in international markets, responding to the increase in demand for sea products, while not neglecting its contribution to the domestic market.
Gerardo Balbontín, general manager of Blumar, explained that the positioning the company has achieved in international markets is largely due to policies and procedures to ensure product quality and safety, “which has allowed us to obtain the certifications required by the most demanding markets in the world. That is the basis of the export excellence that Asexma highlights with this recognition”, he emphasized.
