Thursday, May 19, 2022.- With the aim of showcasing the electrical equipment used in Blumar Magallanes’ farming centers, the first technical lecture was held for more than thirty fourth-year students from the Don Bosco Institute. 

During the activity, which took place as part of the training week organized by the NGO Canales, Blumar Magallanes’ maintenance supervisor, Blahienco Vrsalovic, explained the importance of maintaining proper functioning of the electrical equipment in the farming centers.

“The lecture was quite entertaining. Also, as an electrician it takes us more towards motor maintenance, an area I like because it goes deeper into mechanics”, commented David Villaroel, one of the visiting students at the farming center.

For his part, the coordinator of the professional technical area at the Don Bosco Institute, Enrique Hernández, stated that “this allows us to offer students a different perspective for an insertion process that we hope will be the best. These are complicated times, difficult times due to the pandemic, but we are doing our best so that the students can enter the job market with better skills”.

For the maintenance supervisor and lecturer, Blahienco Vrsalovic, “these instances are very important because as a company we can make ourselves known, not only at the level of fish production, but also with the other activities that are carried out. This is good because we are opening a new field and giving young people a new opportunity to experience and learn new things”, he explained.

During 2022 Blumar Magallanes will continue strengthening its relationship with this establishment, in order to continue contributing to the development of talent in students graduating this year.
