– Blumar sponsored the event with more than 100 portions of salmon cancato for residents of the Aysén locality.

Recently, Isla Las Huichas held a celebration for its 83rd anniversary with a wide variety of activities organized by the community, aimed at residents of all ages.

As part of this, various water activities were held, including a regatta, which culminated with a community salmon cancato sponsored by Blumar in the Caleta Andrade plaza.

The municipal delegate of Aysén on Isla Las Huichas, Diego Fuentes, appreciated that “Blumar sponsored us with more than 100 free portions for the community.” He added that “the well-being of the community is a commitment of many people and institutions,” so he called for collaboration “around participation and integrative strategies for the community, so that people feel part of the initiatives of the municipality, regional government, and so on.”

Social leader Ximena Ruiz stated: “We are very happy with the activity, with the participation of the people, with the support of the delegate and the company, which transported the volunteers from the community dining hall. We hope these activities will continue to grow in scale.”

Deputy of the Aysén Region, Marcia Raphael, noted that the activity was also “an opportunity to talk and share with people, where families participated in different community activities to properly celebrate the anniversary of Isla Las Huichas.”

Blumar’s Communities Manager, Carolina Vera, stated that “the activity was a success. Many people were invited and were able to taste this product.” In this regard, she thanked “the island for the welcome, for receiving us so well and for having participated in one of their anniversary activities.”

The mayor of Aysén, Luis Martínez, highlighted that “it is always good when companies get involved with their communities and get to know them.” Councilman Luis Muñoz also expressed his recognition after the activity: “We thank the company for this opportunity, for this gift to the community, which was very nice, there were many people, it was a success. We are happy to see many neighbors, friends and authorities who came to the Caleta Andrade plaza. For my part, I am happy to have participated with Blumar in the preparation of the cancato, which turned out delicious, as the neighbors said.”
